This paper introduces the development of lightweight materials for passenger car bottom guard plates,and expounds the materials,processes and characteristics of PET composite long fibers compared with PP+GF mixed fibers.Through the key performance comparison test,the performance advantages and lightweight potential of the domestic PET composite long fiber passenger car bottom guard plate are demonstrated,and the application prospect of PET composite long fiber technology in passenger cars in the future is prospected.
