The shock absorber is a crucial component of the contemporary automotive suspension system. It regulates the oil flow via the intricate valve system structure within, generating damping internally and thereby attaining the shock absorption effect.Among these, the valve system inside the shock absorber is a significant influencing factor that determines the performance of the vehicle chassis(handling stability, steering, and comfort). This article takes two distinct valve systems as examples and conducts verification from several diverse dimensions such as structure, working principle, damping characteristics, and performance(subjective and objective).
