This article is based on the present situation of the domestic vehicle passive safety,and combined with abroad on auto insurance rating method,from high-speed and low-speed collision test,put forward a set of fair,objective,and is suitable for the domestic vehicle safety evaluation method on the front collision test.Then,several vehicles are tested by using this evaluation method.Results show that,this method can provide the information of a car on the occupant protection performance and the damage resistance performance.
