Numerical Simulation of the Impact Resistance of Laminated and Mother-of-pearl Structural Glass
The FEM model of wood block impact on laminated glass was established based on LS-DYNA software, and the simulation results were compared with the experimental results to verify the accuracy of the material constitutive model and parameters. On the basis of the numerical simulation,it is found that the removal time of the backplane unit of the sandwich structure and the nacre structure is about 0.08μs,and that of the nacre structure is 0.12μs,indicating that the nacre structure has better impact resistance. In order to overcome the failure of FEM to intuitively show the approximate form of glass(brittle material)broken under impact load,a numerical model of FEM-SPH coupling was established.SPH was used for glass discretization, while FEM discretization was used for other materials, and this coupling model could better show the broken form of glass structure. The paper also summarizes some key points of the use of important keywords, which has certain guiding significance.
