Exploration on the Pathways for Enhancing Innovation and Entrepreneurship Capabilities in Undergraduate Automotive Programs through Digital Education
With the rapid development of the automotive industry, traditional automotive engineering education increasingly fails to meet the demand for innovative talent. This paper explores the pathways to enhancing the innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities of undergraduate students in automotive programs through digital education. The study, based on practical cases from the automotive programs at Nantong Institute of Technology, utilizes modular course design, blended learning models,project-based intensive courses, and virtual simulation systems to effectively improve students'practical skills and innovative thinking.Students have won multiple awards in national and provincial innovation and entrepreneurship competitions and have achieved initial success in their entrepreneurial ventures. These reforms have enhanced students'employability and provide valuable insights for educational reforms at other institutions.Nonetheless, the study identifies the need for further alignment between complex skill training and industry requirements.
