Design and Verification of the Φ270 Diaphragm Spring Clutch with Long Travel Damper
In addressing the challenges of limited working angles and a narrow range of torsional stiffness adjustment in conventional clutch torsional dampers, this study presents the design of a novel diaphragm spring clutch with long travel damper. The paper began with an analysis of the structure and operating principles of the Φ270 diaphragm spring clutch with long travel damper, followed by the design and verification of the diaphragm spring incorporated within the clutch.Subsequently,a comprehensive verification was conducted on the clutch's reserve radio, slipping work, temperature rise, torque transmission, pedal travel, and pedal force. The torsional characteristics of the large torsion corneal spring clutch were ultimately confirmed through experimental validation, demonstrating that its performance and fatigue life meet the necessary specifications.
