The Effect of Thermal and Cold Fatigue tests on Stellite6 Coatings with Different Processing Techniques
In this paper,Stellite6 powder was cladded and welded at Cr2Ni12MoV by laser cladding and argon arc welding to study the cold and hot fatigue properties of the sample coating.Under the optimal process parameters, the test results of 70 times of cold and hot fatigue of samples with different processing techniques were compared. The results show that the high-speed laser cladding has a power of 3300W,a linear speed of 2.0m/min,a spot size of 3.0-3.3mm,a powder feed of 4.7r/min,a lap ratio of 0.77 and a coating thickness of 0.4mm,and a traditional laser cladding with a power of 1800W,a linear speed of 300mm/min,a spot size of 2.0-2.5mm,a powder feed of 2.0r/min,a lap rate of 0.75 and a coating thickness of 0.8mm.The 1.2mm sample had the best effect after 70 times of hot and cold fatigue, and no cracks, pores,or scratches were found.
