Lightweight Design and Manufacturing Process of Auto Parts
The lightweight of auto parts is one of the key technologies to improve performance,reduce energy consumption and reduce environmental impact in the modern automobile industry.Starting from the core concept of lightweight design,this paper discusses how to achieve lightweight automobiles by reducing the use of materials,optimizing the structure and the application of new materials.The characteristics and applications of new materials such as aluminum alloy,magnesium alloy and carbon fiber are introduced,as well as advanced manufacturing processes such as laser melting technology,die-casting and powder metallurgy,and the application of multi-material connection technology in lightweight design is also analyzed.Finally,the important role of forming technology,precision machining and quality control in achieving the goal of lightweight is discussed.
