摘要

词汇作为语言信息的载体,是发展英语学科核心素养的基础要素.本研究采用横断研究方法,从词汇多样性、词汇复杂性、词汇密度和词汇错误率四个维度对高中三个年级学生的词汇丰富性进行研究,以了解其发展特征和趋势及与写作质量的关系.研究发现:词汇丰富性各维度在三个年级间均有不同程度提高,但发展不均衡且呈现多样化态势;各维度与写作质量的相关性存在差异且各年级相关度各有不同.

Abstract

As the carrier of language information,vocabulary is the basic element of developing the core literacy of English.This research is centered on the development of lexical richness for three grades’senior high school students as well as its correlation with writing quality by using cross-sectional method.The lexical richness would be demonstrated from four dimensions including lexical variation,lexical sophistication,lexical density and lexical error.The results are listed below:in terms of developmental features and trends of lexical richness,each dimension of lexical richness has different degree of development in three grades,and the improvement is unbalanced with diversified trends.In terms of the correlation between lexical richness and writing quality,there is different correlation between each dimension and writing quality,and the correlation is different in each grade.
