摘要

本文以某英语教材中的一部短篇小说The Ultimate Trainers为例,阐述了深度阅读教学如何通过文字、文学和文化三个层次来进行课堂教学实践.在文字层面,教师围绕基于主题语境的语言教学和基于问题链的小说情节梳理两个维度来展开教学活动.在文学层面,教师开展基于多个视角的小说人物分析和基于矛盾冲突的小说主旨探究两大教学活动.在文化层面,教师设计两组教学活动,启发学生通过小说联系自身生活实际,建构文化意义从而超越生活,塑造正确三观.

Abstract

Using the example of The Ultimate Trainers,a short story from English textbook,this article provides an overview of how deep reading can be implemented at three levels:linguistic,literary,and cultural aspects.In terms of novel-reading activities designed on linguistic level,the author illustrates how to strengthen language learning by centering on the theme meaning and how to sort out the plot of novel with a question chain as the starting point.As for literary level,the second phase,the author guides students to analyze and make judgments on novel characters from multiple perspectives and encourages students to explore the main idea of the novel based on conflicts.In the design of reading teaching activities based on the cultural level,the author inspires students to construct cultural meaning by linking life with novels and shaping correct three views beyond life.
