摘要

本研究选取北师大版、人教版、外研版高中英语新教材必修一至必修三为研究对象,基于Byram和Morgan(1994)的文化内容评价模式和中华文化的分类进行文本内容对比分析,旨在揭示高中英语新教材中华文化呈现的内容和方式.研究结果表明,三版高中英语新教材呈现的中华文化内容主要包括传统文化和现代文化,呈现方式以显性呈现为主,隐性呈现为辅.研究结果对于教材编写和教学有一定启示作用.

Abstract

This study selects Compulsory Book One to Compulsory Book Three of the new senior high school English textbooks as research objects,including three sets,respectively published by Beijing Normal University Press(BNUP),People's Education Press(PEP)and Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press(FLTRP).Based on the theory of Cultural Content Evaluation Model(Byram&Morgan,1994)and the classification of Chinese culture,this study is conducted to analyze their text content,aiming to reveal the presentation of Chinese cultural content and patterns in the new senior high school English textbooks.The findings shows that the content of Chinese culture presented in the three sets of the new senior high school English textbooks mainly covers modern culture and traditional culture.And the dominant presentation pattern is explicit,supplemented by the implicit one.The above findings have an enlightening function for textbook design and English teaching.
