摘要
英语既可以承载中国文化,也可以成为传播中国文化的工具.在跨文化交际能力培养中,培养学生中国文化英语表达能力意义重大.本文通过问卷调查对河南省某高中英语课堂中国文化教学现状进行了研究.结果发现,高中生中国文化英语表达能力较弱;学生对英语教学中中国文化教学的重要性持肯定态度,但在英语课堂中,中国文化教学并没有被给予足够重视.要提高学生的中国文化英语表达能力,需要进一步开发相关学习材料,丰富中国文化课堂教学内容,加大高考中对中国文化英语表达能力的考核等.
Abstract
English is a carrier of Chinese culture and can be used to convey and spread Chinese culture,so it is of significance to cultivate students'ability to express Chinese culture in English class teaching.A study with a senior high school in Henan Province on the current situation of Chinese culture teaching is conducted.It is found that students'ability of using English to express Chinese culture is poor,and the importance of the ability of using English to express Chinese culture is highly acknowledged,yet not enough attention is given to it in English class teaching.To improve students'ability to express Chinese culture in English,Chinese culture related English learning material should be developed.More related materials should be adopted in English classes and students'ability to express Chinese culture in English should be further assessed in the College Entrance Examination.
