摘要
本文以外研版《英语》(新标准)(2024修订版)为案例,探讨义务教育阶段英语教师如何识别、利用教材中的文化元素,培养学生的文化意识素养.首先,对《义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)》中的文化意识进行解读;然后,结合教材案例阐释外语教材中文化内容挖掘的理论视角与路径;最后,针对文化意识培养及教材使用提出几点建议.
Abstract
Drawing on The New Standard English(2024)published by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press,this study explores how primary and junior high school English teachers could foster students'cultural awareness through identifying cultural elements embedded within textbooks.The study begins by unpacking the definition and rationales in relation to cultural awareness outlined in The English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition).It then employs specific textbook examples to elaborate on the theoretical perspectives and approaches to exploring cultural content in foreign language learning and teaching materials.Recommendations for cultural teaching and the effective utilization of textbooks are provided.
