摘要

落实育人目标是中学英语课堂教学的重要任务.然而在一线教学中,实现育人目标面临理念不当、方法偏颇等困境.苏格拉底式问答主导的课堂具有交流氛围融洽、问答逻辑严密、价值塑造自然的优势,可以从语境创设、情感体验和思维发展三方面着手实现育人目标.本文以某版义务教育英语教科书七年级上册Unit 2阅读课为例,探讨了如何通过苏格拉底式问答提升英语课堂的育人价值:创设育人语境,帮助学生认识家庭多样性;关注情感体验,引导学生关爱特殊家庭;升华"家"的概念,增强学生的爱国意识.

Abstract

Implementing educational goals is a crucial task in junior high school English teaching.However,in frontline teaching,achieving these goals faces challenges such as inappropriate concepts and biased methods.A classroom dominated by Socratic questioning offers the advantages of a harmonious communication atmosphere,rigorous questioning logic,and natural value formation.It can achieve educational goals through three aspects:creating context,emotional experience,and cognitive development.This article takes a reading lesson from Unit 2 of a seventh-grade English textbook as an example to explore how Socratic questioning can enhance the educational value of an English classroom:creating an educational context to help students recognize family diversity;focusing on emotional experience to guide students in caring for special families;and elevating the concept of"home"to enhance students'patriotism.
