The transformation towards digital intelligence in higher education represents a systemic revolution in the physical environment,teaching modalities,modes of education,and administration paradigms in universities.Profound changes in the professional and teaching environments of universities in the era of educational digital intelligence have sparked a demand for university teachers to update their professional concepts,expand their professional knowledge,enhance their professional abilities,and shape their professional affections.Although the wave of digitalization brings real challenges in terms of professional development beliefs and opportunities for university teachers,the innovation in teaching modes,teaching spaces,teaching resources,and learning environments under technology empowerment simultaneously creates tremendous development opportunities.Therefore,it is urgent for university teachers to focus on the improvement of the four dimensions of spiritual literacy,data literacy,teaching literacy,and professional literacy,and to realize professional development of teachers through the comprehensive enhancement of digital literacy.
