During the period of the Republic of China,Ludwik Rajchman was invited to China many times by the Nanjing National Government.Initially,his focus was on China's public health sector,which resulted in the composition of a"Health Report".Subsequently,he attempted to initiate technological cooperation with China,culminating in the presentation of the"Rajchman's Report"to the League of Nations,which elicited significant reactions from various social circles.The different attitudes and perceptions towards Rajchman's various roles across these periods reflected the complex sentiments of the Chinese populace regarding Western aid at the time.The implementation of Rajchman's health initiatives facilitated cooperation between the League of Nations and the Nanjing National Government,advancing public health developments in the Republic of China.Despite being shelved by the League of Nations due to Japan's strong opposition,the"Rajchman's Report"offered inspiration and insights for addressing China's practical problems and pursuing development.
