With the aggravation of China's aging population,the proportion of the elderly in rural areas is gradually increasing.The traditional family elderly care model is facing numerous challenges,such as the increasing number of elderly people living alone and their children going out to work.Therefore,exploring new family elderly care models,especially by integrating social resources,can better meet the living and health needs of the elderly.The rural revitalization strategy requires enhancing the sense of happiness for rural residents,including the elderly's living security and social participation.The new family elderly care model should not only provide basic daily care for the elderly,but also pay attention to enhancing their social participation and meeting their cultural and entertainment needs,thus stimulating the potential vitality of rural areas.Based on the basic characteristics of rural family elderly care models and the trend of elderly care models in rural areas in China,this paper attempts to innovatively explore the new family elderly care model in rural areas,with the aim of promoting the overall development of rural areas and improving the overall quality of life for the elderly.
