As one of the key measures to promote the transformation and upgrading of the rural economic structure,the sports industry can bring significant economic benefits to rural areas.The development of the sports industry creates more employment opportunities,thereby increasing the actual income of farmers,driving the rapid development of related industries such as tourism and health care,and promoting the sustainable development of the rural economy.This paper explores the intrinsic connection between the rural sports industry and the rural economy,and in view of the problems faced in the development of the rural sports industry,from the perspective of economic development,it elaborates on the specific strategies for the development of the rural sports industry to promote the rural economic development from the three dimensions of cultural concepts,the sports industry chain,and the development of sports resources,with a view to comprehensively improving the level of the rural economy scale.
