Determination of Three Active Components in Yaoxitong Capsules by HPLC
Objective To establish an HPLC method for the simultaneous determination of notoginsenoside R1,ginsenoside Rg1 and ginsenoside Rb1 in Yaoxitong Capsules.Methods The analysis of methanol extract of Yaoxitong Capsules was performed on an Omini MP C18 column(4.6 mm×200 mm,5 μm)with the mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.1%phosphoric acid solution flowing at 0.7 ml/min in a gradient elution manner.The detection wavelength was 203 nm and the column temperature was controlled at 25 ℃.Results Notoginsenoside R1,ginsenoside Rg1 and ginsenoside Rb1 showed good linear relationships with the peak areas in the range of 40.402-1010.500 μg,40.480-1012.000 μg and 41.480-1037.000 μg,respectively(r<0.99).The average recoveries were 97.8%,97.5%,98.7%and the RSDs were all lower than 2.0%(n=6).The precision,repeatability and other tests were in compliance with the provisions.Conclusion The method is simple and scientific,and can provide technical support for the quantitative control of 3 components in Yaoxitong Capsules which is a kind of traditional Chinese and western medicine compound preparation.
