Progress in Pharmacological Activity and Clinical Immune Application of Total Glucosides of Paeoniae Radix Alba
Paeoniae Radix Alba is the dried root of Paeonia lactiflora Pall.,a plant of Ranunculaceae.It is widely used in various modem Chinese patent medicine products and traditional Chinese medicine preparations.Total glucosides of Paeoniae Radix Alba(TGP)is the main active part of Paeoniae Radix Alba extract.More and more studies have shown that TGP has a wide range of pharmacological effects,including analgesia,anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,anticancer,liver protection,cardiovascular protection,antidepressant,immune regulation,etc.,which are mainly manifested in the regulation of the expression of related receptors,signal transduction and other aspects,and TGP has a significant effect in clinical immune diseases.In this paper,the pharmacological action and clinical application of TGP in recent years are summarized as follows in order to provide reference for the follow-up research and product development of TGP.
