Optimization of Spray Drying Process of Fermented and Concentrated Liquid of Mulberry Leaves
Objective To study the conditions of the spray drying process of fermented and concentrated liquid of mulberrues leaves. Methods The process was optimized by L9(34)orthogonal design, and the effect of relative density of fermented and concentrated liquid, the inlet air temperature, the inlet flow rate and the air flow rate on the conditions of the spray drying process were researched, using the flour yield, the moisture content and the content of DNJ as evaluating indicators. Results The optimized spray drying process were as follows:the relative density of fermented and concentrated liquid was 1.0,the inlet air temperature was 190℃,the inlet flow rate was 20 ml/min,and the air flow rate was 600 L/h.Conclusion The obtained product particles are uniform and fine, and with good fluidity, which can ensure the flour yield to the maximum extent and improve the DNJ content, thus provide new ideas and ways for better utilization of mulberry leaf resources.
