Study on Anti-inflammatory Effect of Dahuang Oral Drops
Objective To evaluate the effect of Dahuang Oral Drops on chronic periodontitis.Methods Extract from Rhei Radix Et Rhizoma was prepared by enzymatic hydrolysis and water extraction,and the main components of the extract were analyzed by HPLC.The cell model of periodontitis induced by specific LPS of Porphyromonas gingivalis was established,and the expression level of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in the cell model was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results Compared with the control group,when 10%of the extract was added to the basic formula of the oral drops,the concentration of TNF-α in the cell supernatant decreased significantly.Conclusion Dahuang Oral Drops has obvious inhibitory effect on periodontitis.
