Determination of Five Free Anthraquinones in Rhubarb and Sodium Bicarbonate Tablets by QAMS
Objective To establish a method for determination of five free anthraquinones in Rhubarb and Sodium Bicarbonate Tablets by quantitative analysis of multi-components by single marker(QAMS).Methods HPLC was adopted and chrysophanol was set as an internal reference substance to establish the relative correction factors of aloe-emodin,rhein,emodin and emodin monomethyl ether,and the results were compared with those of external standard method to verify the rationality and feasibility of QAMS.Results For the 8 batches of samples from different manufactures,there was no significant difference between the calculated values of QAMS and the measured values of the external standard method,and the values of the relative average deviation were all less than 1.0%.Conclusion This method is accurate and reliable,which can be used for the content determination of five free anthraquinones in Rhubarb and Sodium Bicarbonate Tablets.
