Determination of 6 Metallic Elements in Five-layer Co-extrusion Film by ICP-MS
Objective To establish an ICP-MS method for determination of Cu,Cd,Cr,Pb,Sn and Ba in five-layer co-extrusion film. Methods An ICP-MS method was used. The parameters of experimental conditions were as follows:the RF power was 1550 W,the plasma gas velocity was 15.0 L/min,the auxiliary gas velocity was 0.8 L/min,the carrier gas velocity was 0.8 L/min,the compensatory and diluent gas velocity was 0.8 L/min,the peristaltic pump rate was 0.1 r/s,the atomizing chamber temperature was 2℃,and the sampling depth was 5.0 mm.He mode was adopted for data acquisition, and internal standard method was used for content determination. Results The calibration curves of 6 metallic elements were linear in the concentration ranges of 0-100 ng/ml.The average recoveries were 95.3%-to 106.0%,with RSDs of 0.8%-6.4%.The limits of quantitation were 0.007-0.04 ng/ml.There was no significant difference between the contents of Cu,Cd,Pb and Ba determined by ICP-MS method and the original standard method, and Cr and Sn were detected by ICP-MS method, while not detected by the original standard method. Conclusion The ICP-MS method is accurate, sensitive and fast.It can be used for the quality control of five-layer co-extrusion infusion membrane.
