Optimization of Rapid Extraction of Yellow Pigment from Buddlejae Flos by Response Surface Methodology
Objective To optimize the flash extraction conditions of yellow pigment from Buddlejae Flos. Methods With the yield of yellow pigment as the indicator, the ethanol concentration, extraction rotation speed and extraction time were optimized by response surface methodology(RSM).Results The optimal extraction conditions included liquid to solid ratio of 30 ml/g,ethanol concentration of 46%,extraction rotation speed of 8650 r/min and extraction time of 104 s.The yield of yellow pigment reached 69.22±1.4 mg/g.Conclusion The method is efficient, stable and reliable, which can provide a strong support for the further development of yellow pigment from Buddlejae Flos.
