Tangeretin Improving the Loss of Exercise Benefit Caused by Excessive Exercise:From the Perspective of Intestinal Barrier Injury
Strenuous exercise increases the risk of intestinal barrier damage, and long-term intestinal barrier damage affects the benefit of exercise. This study sorted out and analyzed relevant research results both at home and abroad from several aspects, such as excessive exercise damaging the intestinal barrier, intestinal barrier damage affecting exercise benefits, tangeretin repairing intestinal barrier injury and the logic of tangeretin improving exercise benefits. The results show that excessive exercise reduces the expression of connexin in intestinal epithelial cells, increases intestinal permeability, leads to the increase of endotoxin and inflammatory factors, and potentially affects the structure and function of skeletal muscle, bone and respiratory tract.Tangeretin intervention can increase the expression of connexin in intestinal epithelial cells, repair intestinal barrier damage, reduce inflammatory factors and oxidative stress levels, and promote intestinal flora optimization(increase the abundance of probiotics).Long-term tangeretin intervention has a positive effect on exercise efficiency, which is manifested as an increase in skeletal muscle mass,an increase in anabolic ratio,a decrease in bone loss,a decrease in respiratory tract inflammation, and an improvement trend in maximum oxygen uptake, explosive power, and other quality.
