Morphological Characteristics,Generation Logic and Governance Implication of the Youngerization Phenomenon of Square Dancing Groups:A Field Investigation Based on 20 Square Dance Teams in Chongqing
In recent years,the trend of the square dance group becoming younger,i.e.the"youngerization"phenomenon has reflected the fact that its culture has undergone new changes,which provides important insights into the deepening of the national fitness strategy.Using research methods such as literature review and field studies,this study analyzes the characteristics,logic of generation,and governance implications of the youngerization of the square dance group from the perspectives of cultural identity and symbolic interaction.The aim is to facilitate the understanding,development,and governance of square dance culture in the new development stage.The results indicate that the youngerization of the square dance group is characterized by"an expanded proportion of middle-aged and young groups with a white-collar-dominated occupational structure;stable group actions with prominent self-actualization values;and a preference for energetic and trendy elements within the group".Research suggests that the youngerization of the square dance group is essentially the outcome of the cultural identity of young middle-aged groups,generally undergoing through the process of forming group symbolic identity,identity recognition,and value recognition.The key to empowering the healthy China construction with square dance culture is to continuously promote the innovation of square dance cultural elements,while the prerequisite is to further shape a good cultural image of square dance,and the focus is to strengthen the popularization and dissemination of square dance cultural values.
