Main Reasons and Solutions for Improving Pre-service Physical Education Teachers'Motor Skills in the Context of Curriculum Standards
The new curriculum standard has put forward new requirements for teaching motor skills,and the overall level of motor skills of current primary and secondary pre-service physical education teachers is closely related to the quality of future school physical education teaching,which affects the effectiveness of students'learning of sports skills in physical education classes.The reasons for the deficiencies in the level of motor skills of primary and secondary school pre-service physical education teachers include:in the selection of students,the test of motor skills in the unified examination of physical education has been continuously weakened;in the process of cultivation,the curriculum of the undergraduate major of physical education in the art course is not reasonable;and in the qualification of entry into the profession,the examination of motor skills in the qualification examination of physical education teachers is unscientific.In view of the new requirements of motor skills teaching,we propose the following ideas to improve the motor skills level of pre-service physical education teachers:1)to strengthen the motor skills test in the unified examination of physical education to enhance the foundation of motor skills of freshmen majoring in physical education;2)to reform the art curriculum of undergraduate majoring in physical education to comprehensively improve the motor skills level of pre-service physical education teachers;3)to optimize the motor skills assessment of the teachers'qualification examination and to give full play to the role of promoting teaching and learning by the examination.
