摘要

思辨能力和跨文化能力是外语教学的核心培养目标,两者具有高度重合之处,具备融合培养的可能性.本文通过对《新未来大学英语》综合教程 1、2 两个基础级别中有关思辨能力和跨文化能力培养的任务设计进行梳理和分析,发现了两种能力融合培养的具体路径.培养思辨能力和跨文化能力的两类任务你中有我、我中有你、相互交叠、循环互动,具体表现为引导学生在跨文化场景中锻炼思辨能力,以思辨的方法解决跨文化问题,并自然融入课程思政目标,进而实现两种能力的融合培养,充分体现了跨文化思辨育人的教材编写理念.由此,大学英语教师在教学实践过程中应学会凝练培养目标、整合教学资源、优化教学方法,从而进一步实现多元能力发展观在外语教学中的有效运用.

Abstract

Critical thinking and intercultural competence,as the core objectives of foreign language teaching,have a high degree of coincidence with each other,which justifies the possibility of being integrated for cultivation.By sorting out and analyzing the task design related to the cultivation of critical thinking and intercultural competence in Integrated Course 1 and 2 of Over to You,two basic levels,this paper discovers the specific path to the integrated cultivation of the two competences.The two types of tasks respectively aiming to develop critical thinking and intercultural competence overlap and interact with each other in a circulating way.In the tasks,students are guided to apply critical thinking in the intercultural scene and to solve intercultural problems by adopting critical thinking,with the ideological and political goals naturally absorbed into the course,so that the integrated cultivation of the two competencies can be fulfilled.The integrated cultivation echoes the concept of textbooks compilating for"Intercultural Thinking Education".Accordingly,college English teachers should learn to be concentrated on cultivating goals,integrate teaching resources,and optimize teaching methods,so as to facilitate the development of multiple competences applied in foreign language teaching.
