Overseas Research on Xi Jinping's Traditional Cultural Views:Evaluation and Contemporary Implications
Since the beginning of the new era,overseas scholars have conducted research on Xi Jinping's tra-ditional cultural views.They have explained the connotation and significance of Xi Jinping's traditional cultural views from four aspects:Xi Jinping's strategic positioning of China's fine traditional culture,his value judgment on the core concepts of fine traditional Chinese culture,his understanding of the development path of fine traditional Chinese culture,and the requirements for the effective inheritance of fine traditional Chinese culture.They have analyzed the extensional significance of Xi Jinping's traditional cultural views from four perspectives:consolidating governance legitimacy,building social consensus,resisting Western liberalism,and enhancing cultural soft power,thus forming a theoretical framework for overseas research on Xi Jinping's traditional cultural views.Overseas research on Xi Jinping's traditional cultural views has shown an increasing trend of systematic nature and comprehensiveness.However,due to the influence of researchers'political stances,cultural backgrounds,and values,their research often lacks objectivity and academic rigor.By systematically sorting and objectively evaluating overseas research,we can effectively respond and guide in a timely manner,more effectively promote Chinese traditional culture,and enhance China's cultural soft pow-er.
