Security Risks and Legal Responses to APP Collection of Personal Information
Against the backdrop of accelerated information sharing,it is crucial to deeply explore the security risks associated with the collection of personal information by apps and implement comprehensive supervision of its entire process.Through the analysis of legal policy texts, case studies, and comparative analysis, this paper examines the security risks and regulatory challenges in the collection of personal information by apps and pro-poses new methods for protecting personal information rights and interests. The study found that current regula-tory risks in the collection of personal information by apps include three main issues:lagging legislative protec-tion,weak administrative supervision, and obstacles to judicial relief. To address these issues effectively,we should strengthen legislative protection and improve existing laws and regulations, and refine specific provisions for personal information protection to achieve more effective regulation. We should promote coordina-tion among regulatory authorities, establish a cross-sector coordination mechanism, enhance information sha-ring,build stronger risk-response capacities, and ensure the consistency of regulatory actions. We should also optimize judicial relief mechanisms, adjust proof rules in infringement cases, relax proof requirements for the infringed, and expand the conditions for public interest litigation.
