This study,guided by the theory of learner autonomy and adopting a mixed research methodology,explores the intrinsic relationship between Mooc-based blended teaching and the enhancement of English learner autonomy.Quantitative data analysis showed that:Mooc-based blended teaching can enhance the learner autonomy of vocational college students and produce a significant difference in the enhancement of learner autonomy of students in high-score and low-score groupings;the enhancement of learner autonomy is significantly and moderately positively correlated with Mooc performance and predicts the Mooc performance,with the ability of multi-interactive learning being a significant predictive variable.Combined with the qualitative data analysis,it is found that the Mooc-based blended teaching can empower students in improving their learner autonomy from the three levels of"awareness-action-capability".
