Controllable Synthesis and Characterization of Co3O4 Nanocube Loaded with CeO2 Composite Metal Oxides
The metal oxide-oxide interface on supported catalysts has rarely been studied due to the complex interface structure and synthesis difficulty. The authors of this paper successfully prepared CeO2/Co3O4 composite metal oxide materials with uniform CeO2 coverage on the surface of Co3O4 nanocubes by exploring and optimizing experimental conditions such as synthesis temperature, reaction time, and surfactant-Ce source ratio. The physical and chemical properties of the obtained material, such as morphology, composition, and state, were verified through characterization techniques such as scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. This work could provide research ideas for the controllable synthesis and preparation of composite metal oxide materials.
