Precancerous lesions of gastric cancer(PLGC),as a key link in the occurrence and development of gastric cancer,have important research value in the prevention and treatment of gastric cancer.Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the key to its pathogenesis is the spleen and stomach deficiency.It was believed in the theory of"spleen governing defense"of Huangdi's Canon of Internal Medicine that the spleen and stomach have the function of ensuring the normal operation of the body and protecting the body from the attack by external pathogenic factors.Recently,modern biological research on the theory of"spleen governing defense"has mostly focused on the immune system.It is believed that the spleen and stomach achieve the goal of preventing and treating diseases by improving the immune function of the human body."Spleen governing defense"is closely related to the pathogenesis of PLGC.Invigorating spleen plays an important role in delaying the progression of PLGC and reversing histopathological changes.
