Many skin diseases were recorded in bamboo and silk medical manuscripts,which can be mainly divided into five categories:infectious skin diseases,physical skin diseases,animal skin diseases,allergic skin diseases and pigmented skin diseases,including ancient disease names such as"Ma,Ming,Fuju,Xixia,Dafeng,Dadai,Baishi and Liao".The treatment methods of skin diseases include external treatment,internal treatment and Zhuyou treatment,among which the external treatment method is the main one.External treatment focuses on removing external pathogens of skin diseases,while internal treatment focuses on replenishing healthy qi.A systematic review of skin diseases and treatment methods of bamboo and silk medical manuscripts can provide a glimpse of the diagnosis and treatment level of skin diseases in the Qin and Han Dynasties,which will help improve the research on early medical history of skin diseases and provide new ideas for modern clinical treatment of skin diseases.
