Research Review of Mechanism of Traditional Chinese Medicine Intervention in Sequelae of Pelvic Inflammatory Diseases
The sequelae of pelvic inflammatory diseases(PID)seriously affect female reproductive health and quality of life due to prolongation and recurrence. We reviewed the studies of traditional Chinese medicine intervention in the sequelae of PID by regulating signaling pathways of transforming growth factor-β/Smads proteins(TGF-β/Smads),mitogen-activated protein kinases(MAPKs),tyrosine kinases/signal transducers and transcriptional activators(J AK/STAT),nuclear transcription factor-κB(NF-κB),fatty acid synthase/fatty acid synthase ligands(Fas/FasL)and Toll-like receptors(TLRs),etc.in the latest ten years, analyzed and summarized the mechanisms and research points of different signaling pathways,in order to provide effective targets and theoretical basis for the treatment of the sequelae of PID.Total 51 references are cited.
