Diabetic macroangiopathy is a serious complication in the later stage of diabetes,with a high disability and mortality rate.Early intervention to prevent the progression of the disease is of great significance for improving the quality of life of patients and saving medical resources.The constitution theory of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)believes that the constitution of human beings is not only endowed by innate basis,but also can be changed by external intervention.The constitution types of diabetic macroangiopathy are mainly concentrated in yin deficiency constitution,qi deficiency constitution,phlegm-dampness constitution and blood stasis constitution.Guided by the idea of preventing disease in TCM,from the perspective of adjustable constitution,two medical cases were listed to formulate specific adjustment schemes of TCM,diet and exercise for high-risk constitution types of diabetic macroangiopathy,so as to correct the constitution bias as early as possible,in order to provide reference for the clinical prevention and treatment of diabetic macroangiopathy.
