Study on Treasured Marine Chinese Medicine from Perspective of Integration of Medicine and Humanities
Based on clarifying the relationship between"marine treasures"and"marine Chinese medicine",this paper further proposed that the concept of"treasured marine Chinese medicine"should have the attributes of marine,Chinese medicine and treasure.Based on the records of representative reference books in Tang,Song,Ming and Qing Dynasties,five treasured marine Chinese medicines were summarized,including Zhenzhu(Margarita),Shanhu(Coral),Daimao(Eretmochelys Imbricata),Chequ(Tridacna)and Zibei(Mauritia Arabica).The cultural characteristics were investigated from the aspects of extraterritorial introduction and local transmission,marine environment,rare and unique characteristics,gorgeous and exquisite materials,and auspicious cultural symbols.The experience of medication was summarized from the aspects of category identification,different uses of raw and cooked products and external treatment methods.From the perspective of the integration of humanities and medicine,combined with the history of tributary trade and exchange and related historical materials of medicinal records on the Silk Road,this paper sorted out the development and utilization process from"marine treasure"to"treasured marine Chinese medicine",explored the multi-dimensional aspects and internal correlation of its cultural patterns and medical characteristics,and summarized the dynamic evolution process of the degree of recognition,familiarity and utilization of treasured marine Chinese medicine gradually deepened.It was believed that the cognition of marine medicine knowledge system in China profoundly reflected the acceptance and absorption of extraterritorial civilizations.
