Observation on Therapeutic Effect of Relaxing Tendons and Collaterals Massage Combined with Diclofenac Sodium for Scapulohumeral Periarthritis
Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of relaxing tendons and collaterals massage combined with diclofenac sodium for scapulohumeral periarthritis.Methods:A total of 280 patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis were divided into the observation group and the control group according to random number table method,with 140 patients in each group.The control group was treated with diclofenac sodium com-bined with shoulder function exercise.The observa-tion group was treated with relaxing tendons and collaterals massage on the basis of the treatment of the control group.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.The changes of shoulder joint function,shoulder joint range of motion,simplified McGill Pain Questionnaire(SF-MPQ)scores,and laboratory indicators[Substance P(SP),prostaglandin E2(PGE2),5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)]before and after treatment in the two groups were observed,and the therapeutic effect was evaluated.Results:After treatment,the pain score,joint range of motion(ROM)score,ability of daily living(ADL)score,muscle strength score,shoulder joint local morphology(LF)score,shoulder joint function evaluation scale total score and shoulder joint range of motion in both groups were higher(greater)than those before treatment(P＜0.05),and the observation group was higher(greater)than the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the pain grading index(PRI)score,visual analogue scale(VAS)score,current pain in-tensity(PPI)score,SP,PGE2 and 5-HT levels in both groups were lower than those before treatment(P＜0.05),and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The total effective rate was 94.29％in the observation group and 87.14％in the control group.The curative effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Relaxing tendons and collaterals massage combined with diclofenac sodium can improve the function of shoulder joint in patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis,increase the activity of shoulder joint,reduce the secretion of pain medium,and relieve the pain of shoulder joint.
