Clinical Study on Three-Dimensional Balancing Chiropractic Technique Combined with Acupuncture and Traction in Treatment of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy
Objective:To observe the clinical curative efficacy of the three-dimensional balancing chiropractic technique combined with acupuncture and traction in treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR).Methods:A total of 80 patients with CSR were divided into an observation group and a control group according to the random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. Both the two groups received medication, acupuncture, and traction therapy, while the observation group received the three-dimensional balancing chiropractic technique on this basis. Both groups took 5 treatments as a course, with a 2-day rest after one course before the next course, continuing for 3 courses in total. The scores of visual analogue scale(VAS)and clinical assessment scale for cervical spondylosis(CASCS)were compared between the two groups before treatment, after 3 courses of treatment, and 2 months after the treatment ended. The clinical curative efficacy of the two groups were evaluated.Results:①After 3 courses of treatment and 2 months after the treatment ended, the VAS score of each group was lower than that before treatment(P<0.05).After 3 courses of treatment, the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).②After 3 courses of treatment and 2 months after the treatment ended, the CASCS score of each group was higher than that before treatment(P<0.05).Two months after the treatment ended, the CASCS score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).③After 3 courses of treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group and the control group was 94.7%and 89.7%,respectively,and the difference between the clinical curative efficacy of the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions:Three-dimensional balancing chiropractic technique combined with acupuncture and traction has definite curative efficacy on CSR,which can alleviate patients'neck pain, improve clinical symptoms and signs, and promote the recovery of their life, work, and social adaptation abilities.
