Clinical Study on Acupuncture Combined with Swallowing Rehabilitation Training in Treatment of Swallowing Disorder After Stroke
Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with swallowing rehabilitation training in the treatment of swallowing disorder after stroke. Methods:A total of 150 patients with swallowing disorder after stroke were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to random number table method, with 75 patients in each group. The two groups received swallowing rehabilitation training, the obser-vation group combined with acupuncture treatment on this basis. The score of the water swallow test, video fluoroscopy swallowing scale(VFSS)score, functional oral intake scale(FOIS)score, neurological deficit symptom score, and blood flow velocity of left vertebral artery, right vertebral artery and basilar artery were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. The therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared, and the clinical effect of the patients with swallowing disorder at different periods in the observation group was compared. Results:After treatment, the scores of water swallow test in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the scores of VFSS and FOIS were higher than those before treatment(P<0.05).After treatment, the score of water swallow test in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the scores of VFSS and FOIS in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).After treatment, the blood flow velocity of left vertebral artery, right vertebral artery and basilar artery of both groups were higher than those before treatment(P<0.05).The blood flow velocity of left vertebral artery, right vertebral artery and basilar artery in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).After treatment, the scores of neurological impairment symptoms in both groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The scores of neurological impairment symptoms in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01).The total effective rate of treatment of the observation group was 90.67%,which was higher than that of the control group 78.67%,the diference in clinical efficacy between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment of preoral stage patients was higher than that of oral preparation stage and oral stage patients(P<0.05).Conclusions:Acupuncture combined with swallowing rehabilitation training has a significant effect in the treatment of swallowing disorder after stroke,it can improve the swallowing ability of patients, relieve symptoms quickly, and promote blood circulation, especially in patients in preoral stage.
