Clinical Study on One-Finger Tuina Combined with Conventional Rehabilitation Training on Post-Traumatic Knee Stiffness
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of one-finger tuina combined with conventional rehabili-tation training in treating post-traumatic knee stiffness. Methods:Total 50 patients with post-traumatic knee stiffness were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to random number table method, with 25 cases in each group. The control group received conventional rehabili-tation training, including Maitland joint mobilization, physical factor therapy, exercise therapy and static progressive stretch. The observation group received one-finger tuina on the basis of the treatment of the control group, and the treatment frequency of both groups was 5 times per week for 4 consecutive weeks.Active range of motion(AROM),visual analogue scale(VAS)score, and knee hospital for special surgery(HSS)score were used for evaluation before and after treatment. Results:After treatment, knee joint AROM and HSS scores of both groups were improved and VAS scores were reduced compared with those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01),and the improvement of AROM,HSS score, and VAS score of the observation group were better than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:One-finger tuina combined with conventional rehabilitation training can improve knee joint mobility, reduce knee joint pain, improve knee joint function in patients with post-traumatic knee stiffness, and the therapeutic effect is better than the application of conventional rehabilitation training alone.
