Observation on Curative Efficacy of Yiqi Shugan Formula(益气疏肝方)Combined with Minimally Invasive Debridement in Treatment of Granulomatous Lobular Mastitis in Abscess Formation Stage and Related Depression
Objective:To observe and evaluate the efficacy of Yiqi Shugan Formula(益气疏肝方)combined with minimally invasive debridement in the treatment of granulomatous lobular mastitis(GLM)in abscess formation stage and related depression.Methods:A total of 80 patients with GLM in abscess stage from The Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into experimental group(Yiqi Shugan Formula+minimally invasive debridement group)and control group(minimally invasive debridement group),40 patients in each group.Scores of TCM emotional symptoms,extent of local breast lesions,degree of pain and indexes of leukocyte count,interleukin-6(IL-6)and C-reactive protein(CRP)were observed before and after treatment.At the same time,the clinical cure time,breast appearance and recurrence of GLM were evaluated.Results:After 2 cycles of treatment,the symptoms of anxiety,fatigue and forgetfulness,irritability,sleeplessness,depravity,few words,weakness and timidity,abdominal distension,having a deep sigh sometimes,chest and rib distension and pain in both groups were improved compared with those before treatment,after 4 cycles of treatment,all the TCM emotional symptoms of the two groups were significantly improved,and the test group was superior to the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the range of local breast lesions,the degree of pain and the laboratory indexes in the two groups all showed a decreasing trend,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The test group was significantly lower than the control group at the same time(P＜0.05).All the patients in the treatment groups reached the clinical cure state of GLM within 4 months of treatment.The clinical cure time,breast appearance and recurrence rate in the experimental group were significantly better than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusions:Yiqi Shugan Formula combined with minimally invasive debridement can significantly shorten the course of GLM,reduce breast appearance damage,reduce recurrence rate,and reduce the symptoms of depression and physical anxiety in patients with GLM in abscess formation stage,inidacting a significant effect on the prevention and treatment of related depression.
