Observation on Efficacy of Shugan Wenjing Decoction(疏肝温经汤)Combined with Moxibustion and Electronic Dysmenorrhea Treatment Device in Treatment of Dysmenorrhea with Syndrome of Cold Congulation and Blood Stasis
Objective:To explore the efficacy of using Shugan Wenjing Decoction(疏肝温经汤)combined with moxibustion and electronic dysmenorrhea treatment device in the treatment of dysmenorrhea with cold congulation and blood stasis.Methods:Ninety patients of dysmenorrhea with cold congulation and blood stasis from Fourth People's Hospital of Langfang from January 2020 to December 2021 were included.They were divided into a control group(45 cases)and an observation group(45 cases)by a random number table.The control group was treated with conven-tional treatment combined with moxibustion and electronic dysmenorrhea treatment device,and the observation group was treated with Shugan Wenjing Decoction based on control group.Both groups were treated for 3 months.Scores of cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome of both groups before treatment and 3 months after treatment were compared;menstrual related indicators(menstrual cycle,menstrual volume,duration of pain)were compared between two groups;levels of serum pain mediators[(prostaglandin F2α(PGF2α),prostaglandin E2(PGE2),β-endorphin(β-EP)]were compared between two groups before treatment and 3 months after treatment.Results:Three months after treatment,scores of cold coagulation and blood stasis in the two groups were significantly decreased,and the decrease in observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P＜0.05);the postoperative analgesic time in the treatment group was significantly reduced(P＜0.05);both groups showed decreased levels of PGF2α and PGE2 after the treatment,and in the observation group,serum PGF2α and PGE2 decreased more than those in the control group,while levels ofβ-EP in the observation group were increased more than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Shugan Wenjing Decoction of moxibustion with cold congulation and blood stasis and electronic dysmenorrhea treatment device shows definite therapeutic effect on patients with cold dysmenorrhea,can reduce the duration of dysmenorrhea and reduce serum pain mediators.
