Through the interpretation of ministerial fire,this paper expounds the way of"ministerial fire circulation"and the law of"ministerial fire causing cardiopalmus",and summarizes Professor WANG Xingkuan's experience in treating cardiopalmus based on"ministerial fire circulation".Exogenous wind and dampness heat,diet and emotional disorder are the initial factors leading to"cardiopalmus caused by ministerial fire".The main pathogenesis are spleen dampness and adverse rising of the stomach-qi,ministerial fire disturbing the mind,and disordered rhythm.At the same time,it has the pathological characteristics of easy injury of qi and yin,easy generation of phlegm and blood stasis and easy disorder of mind.Based on the mechanism,Professor WANG Xingkuan puts forward that streng-thening the spleen and decending the stomach-qi,purging ministerial fire,calming the mind and relieving the palpitation are the main treatment methods,meanwhile,attention is paid to nourishing qi and yin,eliminating phlegm and removing blood stasis,regulating spirit and benefiting intelligence.The prescription of modified Ningxin Dingji Decoction(宁心定悸汤)is given for treatment.
