Blood stasis is an important pathogenic factor of adenomyosis,and the generation of blood stasis in women's body is often related to cold pathogens.Prolonged blood stasis can easily transform into heat.Therefore,the main pathological mechanism of adenomyosis is the combination of cold congealing and blood stasis transforming into heat.Clinical treatment for this disease should start from the perspective of mixed cold and heat and internal obstruction of blood stasis,and adopt the treatment method of clearing blood stasis,warming and dredging,using both cold and warm medicinals.The Qingyu Wentong Formula(清瘀温通方)is composed of Chishao(Paeoniae Radix Rubra),Taoren(Persicae Semen),Shengpuhuang(Typhae Pollen),Wulingzhi(Faeces Togopteri),Wuyao(Linderae Radix),Xiaohuixiang(Foeniculi Fructus),Danggui(Angelicae Sinensis Radix),Shengdihuang(Rehmanniae Radix),and Huangqi(Astragali Radix),with the effect of activating blood circulation to remove blood stasis and eliminating mass to relieve pain.This formula can be used for clinical treatment of adenomyosis.
