Effect of Liuzijue on Cancer-Related Fatigue,Lung Function and Exercise Endurance in Patients with Lung Cancer
Objective:To observe the effects of Liuzijue on cancer-related fatigue, lung function and exercise endurance in patients with lung cancer. Methods:A total of 62 patients with lung cancer were randomized into a control group and an experiment group,31 patients in each group. The control group was treated with walking training besides conventional medications, while the experiment group was treated with Liuzijue besides conventional medications. Before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment, the revised piper fatigue scale(PFS-R),forced expiratory volume in first second(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC),and six-minute walk test distance(6WMD)were used to evaluate patients. Results:Before treatment, there was no significant difference in PFS-R,FEV1,FVC and 6MWD scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the PFS-R scores of both groups were significantly decreased(P<0.01),with more decrease in the experimental group(P<0.01).The FEV1 and FVC scores of the two groups were significantly increased(P<0.01),with more increase in the experimental group(P<0.01).The 6 WMD scores of the two groups were significantly increased(P<0.01),with more increase in the experimental group(P<0.01).Conclusion:The Liuzijue exercise can significantly improve the symptoms of cancer-related fatigue in patients with lung cancer, improve the lung function and exercise endurance of patients, and is an effective clinical rehabilitation protocol.
