Experience in Treating Myasthenia Gravis Combined with"Influence of Year's Circuit Qi"
Professor WANG Xiaoyan is good at applying qi monism in clinical practice.She holds that the disease mechanism of myasthenia gravis is usually the deficiency of primary yang,liver qi in deficiency failing to ascend,deficiency of spleen and stomach,the abnormal operation of pivot leading to qi deficiency and qi collapse.Insufficient liver qi and less ascending are the initiative for the disease.Yangming failing to descend and Kan-water in deficiency are important disease occurrence.In the process of diagnosis and treatment,according to the characteristics of Xinchou year,and the influence of five circuits and six qi on the disease,it was concluded that kidney fails to consolidate,and water fails to nourish wood,both leading to liver qi failing to ascend gently and orderly.Correspondingly,the treatment is mainly to benefit qi to ascend,and to close and lower yangming.Furthermore,treatment should be based on the actual conditions of the patient to achieve satisfactory effect.
