Professor SUN Shanbin is good at clinical acupuncture treatment of various kinds of pain and sequelae of stroke,especially in the treatment of central pain after stroke.He innovates the application of holographic elephanthead acupuncture for rapid pain relief,holographic meridian balance acupuncture for limb pain treatment,dragon and tiger fighting technique for intensive pain treatment,flying meridian and qi acupuncture for alleviating pain,and the analogy method for reinforcing the root and relieving pain,such as vibrating the governor meridian and strengthening the middle-jiao.In his approach to treating pain,he employs multiple cognitive models and treatment methods such as regulating mind by embedding thread in"Shen"acupoint,regulating mind by embedding thread in"heart"acupoint,removing blood stasis through pricking blood along meridians to alleviate pain,and fixing pain at Jing acupoints,the effect is remarkable.One test case is attached.
