Studying the discussion on the theory of the method of crossing meridian at diaphragm angle in Compendium of Acupuncture and Moxibustion.Consulting the modem literature discussion on the relevant techniques,and summarizing the specific operation and function characteristics of the method of crossing meridian at diaphragm angle.YANG Jizhou sorted out and annotated of acupuncture manipulation,and formed his own acupuncture manipulation characteristics and manipulation system on the basis of predecessors.The method of crossing meridian at diaphragm angle treats diseases according to different conditions and syndrome differentiation,which has the effect of communicating qi and blood,strengthening healthy qi to eliminate pathogens.But there are few clinical applications and studies on this acupuncture method.In the future,the theoretical connotation and operational points of this method should be further explored,standardized operation research should be carried out in combination with modern clinical practice of acupuncture,a case of sudden deafness was treated.
